Re: HOTY
So the point of HOTY is something other than the best player for West Ham over the year?

Is it the best player for West Ham over the year who doesn't show up Wexed for being a football know-nothing?

Re: HOTY
It has to be Rice by the length of the straight.

Struggle to think who might be 2nd or 3rd.
Fabianski has been solid & held off a fairly feeble challenge for his place from Areola.
Bowen , Pacqueta & Antonio have been better in the last few months & Aguerd good in patches (& not so good in others)

You seem to have missed the entire point of HOTY geep.

Re: HOTY
If you don't think it's Rice, then you're judging Rice against Rice at his best, not against the rest of them.

Yes, he's been disappointing at times, but everyone has played below their previous standards.

For whatever reason

Re: HOTY
The truth is that none of them have been any good on a consistent basis.

Rice has probably been the best of a bad bunch.

Rice will walk away with HOTY.

Young HOTY though.... who the heck gets that,

Re: HOTY
Agree Vexed.
For me it's Bowen or Paqueta. The last one for showing some technique and skills.
The rest have been mostly shit.

Re: HOTY
None of the pricks deserve it. Especially not the prick that went missing up to the world cup and then spent the rest of the season trying to get a move to *whoever is winning* next season. Nah bollocks.

Re: HOTY
If it’s not Rice, I don’t know what people have been watching.

Take Benrahma’s penalties away and his return is pretty average. Some of his decision making and execution is ridiculously bad for a footballer of his natural ability.

Rice, runner up: Benrahma

Kehrer or Aguerd

For comedy value

Re: HOTY
I think I’ll wait to see what happens on Thursday. No one has really stood out, maybe Rice.
